  1. Michael- I had no idea. My heart goes out to you and Denise and your entire family. God bless you and send you comfort.

  2. Michael… my heart aches for you and your grieving family. It’s hard to imagine any tragedy worse than losing your own child. At the very least… he suffers no more. And what is left to you is to carry on with his loving memory in your heart. When you feel you are drowning in pain and clenched tight in your own suffering, it’s hard to be aware there is more available in each moment of your own living. Somehow I know, gradually you will continue to open to your possibilities for joy…

  3. Michael, I’m sorry to hear of your loss. I totally understand what you are going through, and at the same time, I don’t-I’d bet you appreciate the paradox.
I know you and Denise did your best for Jon, and that’s good enough. I know that time will help, but not resolve, your loss. Peace to you and your family.

  4. Michael, please except my deepest sympathy for the loss of your son Jon. May God bless you and your family during this difficult time. My love and prayers to you.

  6. That is a beautiful prayer, Michael.

May it be so for you, as well.

    And may time be kind.

  7. Michael, I am so very sorry to hear about Jon. My heart is heavy with grief for you and Denise and the rest of your family.

  8. Michael, my friend, a lovely poem, concise, full of grace born out of anguish. The sorrow must be immeasurable. May your suffering soften, may your heart heal.

    Sometimes there are words.
    Sometimes there is music.
    And sometimes there is silence.

You have many friends who care about you and Denise, and who will be ready and willing to help in every way possible whenever you need it.

  9. I’m so sorry, MIchael. My deepest sympathies to you and your family. If there’s anything I can do to make this easier, I’m here. Sending love.
